The new distillery boasts a wall of distillates

Three Wrens Gin was previously based in Cholmondeley, Cheshire. The new distillery in Combermere features a large visitors area, cocktail bar, gin school, and a ‘wall of distillates’ where visitors can blend their own gin.

Owner and distiller Nick Wadeson commented: “The new distillery is testament to how far the business has come since we founded it in August 2019; it’s an amazing space and really shows off everything we do as a family-run Cheshire producer.

“We ultimately needed more space to distil, distribute, and keep up with the growing demand of our experience days. We know we’re going to be able to offer a truly unique experience here, and we have tried to create a paradise for gin lovers, where you can explore, learn and create.

“Our current project is now to create a new botanical garden and indoor vertical planting system where you can pick fresh ingredients to use in your gin.”

From 19 March, distilling and tasting experiences will be available to guests. A combined tasting and tour will cost £25 (US$32.87), while distilling experiences start from £90 (US$118.37), and include a cocktail, full gin tasting, lunch and a bottle of bespoke gin.

The distillery will be open from Monday to Saturday, 10am-6pm GMT.

Last year, Three Wrens gained a Gold medal in The Gin Masters – First Tasting for its Three Wrens Gin Apple Crumble Edition, and a Silver for its Bloody Apricot Edition.

In 2020, the brand created the ‘world’s first’ Bison Grass Gin
