Patrón and Annabel’s partner to save the rainforest

Bacardi-owned Patrón Tequila has teamed up with private members’ club Annabel’s to create a limited edition bottle to raise money for the Amazon rainforest.

The Patrón Reposado bottle is inspired by the design of The Jungle Bar at Annabel’s

As part of its rainforest-saving commitment to plant a million trees by March 2023, London venue Annabel’s partnered with the Tequila brand on the new bottle. The move is part of the Annabel’s for the Amazon initiative.

Created by Annabel’s, the design for the Annabel’s x Patrón Reposado bottle is inspired by the members’ club and the Brazilian rainforest.

The bottle and box use Annabel’s Jungle Bar for its design, featuring some of the hand-drawn illustrations that cover the mirror-panelled walls of the room. The packaging is also fully recyclable.

On 30 September 2021, the venue will host celebrities, members and environmentalists for the inaugural Annabel’s for The Amazon event, which aims to help save the rainforest.

The event will be hosted by The Caring Family Foundation in collaboration with One Tree Planted. Through the event, the organisations hope to plant one million trees by March 2023, equivalent to approximately 600 hectares of forest restored and equal to 4.2 Hyde Parks.

Proceeds from the sale of the limited edition bottle will be donated to the reforestation of the Brazilian rainforest.

It is available exclusively to buy from Selfridges’ website and stores for an RRP of £85 (US$117) per 700ml bottle. Each bottle sold will plant 22 trees.

Furthermore, three Patrón Amazon cocktails will be available at Annabel’s during September, with the partnership planting an extra 10 trees for each drink sold.
