JJ Whitley unveils blue raspberry vodka
Halewood Artisanal Spirits has added to its JJ Whitley range with a Blue Raspberry Vodka.
JJ Whitley’s blue-coloured raspberry vodka is distilled in Chorley, UK, with wheat and water.
Simon Jackman, senior global marketing manager, white spirits at Halewood Artisanal Spirits, said: “Following the successful launch of our JJ Whitley Artisanal Gold Vodka earlier this year, we’re continuing to expand our range with the addition of our new Blue Raspberry flavour.”
The new launch joins the vodka line which includes a vodka filtered through gold silk thread.
Jackman added: “This latest release offers the same eye-catching metallic bottle, which is guaranteed to stand on shelf. Plus, the brilliant, bright blue liquid not only tastes great, but also provides shoppers with a great opportunity to create a range of impactful, instagrammable serves at home.”
The blue bottling presents notes of raspberry on the nose, and flavours of blueberry and raspberry on the palate. The finish has been described as smooth and silky.
Recommended served straight, over ice, or with a mixer, the vodka is available for purchase for RRP £16 (US$21.91) and sits at 38% ABV.
The news of the UK-based company’s latest release follows its recent £3.5m (US$4.8m) advertising push, which includes a campaign to drive awareness for the vodka brand over six months.
