Constellation Brands’ HQ will relocate to the Aqueduct Building located at 50 East Broad Street in downtown Rochester, in the state of New York. Constellation’s main hub is currently based in the town of Victor in New York’s Ontario County.

Renovation at the site in Monroe County is due to begin in mid-to-late 2022, with the office estimated to be ready for use in spring 2024.

The new 170,000-square-foot office will become the working space for nearly 400 employees.

“A move to downtown Rochester provides opportunity to recruit and attract from a broad and diverse talent pool from the region that will help us achieve our long-term business ambitions, while also contributing to the positive momentum and vibrancy growing in the city today,” said Bill Newlands, president and CEO, Constellation Brands.

“We look forward to continuing to foster the economic development and job creation in Rochester for years to come.”

Constellation said it would continue to have a major presence in Ontario County, New York, where the firm was founded in 1945. The company has around 200 workers in an office building it owns on North Bloomfield Road in Canandaigua, Ontario County.

Constellation recently completed a number of restorations to improve the 66,000-square-foot space, including technology upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and building infrastructure modernisation. This building is home to finance, IT, facilities, transportation, and the insights and analytics departments.

In June this year, Constellation Brands acquired a minority stake in Dos Hombres Mezcal, founded by Breaking Bad actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston.
