London Cocktail Club to launch in Bristol

Drinks-led investment group Nightcap has revealed a Bristol site for bar chain London Cocktail Club – the first of several new venues.

London Cocktail Club’s new Bristol venue has acquired a licence to open until 2:30am from Thursdays to Saturdays

The new London Cocktail Club bar will be located in Corn Street, in central Bristol.

Nightcap has a further five UK sites under legal negotiations across its other brands.

The group agreed to acquire London Cocktail Club in December 2020, with the aim of expanding the chain.

Sarah Willingham, chief executive officer of Nightcap, said: “I am delighted to announce the first of several new sites for The London Cocktail Club.

“After the strong trading update announced in June and continued strong trading since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, the group is starting to deliver on its national roll-out strategy, and continues to look to capitalise on the pent-up demand from consumers.”

The Bristol site will cover 3,500 square feet, and is expected to open at the end of this year with a venue capacity of 310 consumers.

Nightcap recently named Dawn Donohoe as the managing director of the group, with ambitions to drive the growth of London Cocktail Club.
