Blue Note Bourbon expands US presence
By Alice BrookerMemphis-based B R Distilling has signed a US distribution agreement with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC).

RNDC will distribute B R Distilling’s Blue Note Bourbon and Riverset Rye to increase the spirits’ national presence.
“There has been a lot of excitement behind our brands, and we’re now positioned for rapid growth with RNDC behind us,” said McCauley Williams, president and CEO of B R Distilling Company.
“Our partnership with RNDC is forward-looking only, and will not impact our relationship with our distribution partners in our current markets.
“RNDC presents us with an amazing opportunity to gain distribution and market share in new areas of the country. Our long-term goal is to build Blue Note and Riverset into national brands.”
Blue Note Bourbon and Riverset Rye are currently distributed by RNDC in US states Alabama, Colorado, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Blue Note Bourbon is offered in five expressions, including Blue Note Juke Joint, Juke Joint Uncut, Crossroads, Premium Small Batch and Single Barrel Reserve. The brand was produced in honour of Memphis blues music.
Riverset Rye is available in two iterations: Small Batch Rye and Single Barrel Rye. The barrels of each expression are aged in Memphis in Tennessee, with the humidity forcing the whiskey ‘deep into the oak’, resulting in a ‘rich’ flavour.
Earlier this month, RDNC also partnered with Selvarey Rum – the brand owned by singer Bruno Mars – to expand its availability in the States.
