Artesian hires Lorenza Pezzetta as bar manager
London bar Artesian at The Langham hotel has appointed Lorenza Pezzetta to the position of bar manager.
Pezzetta is no stranger to hotel bars, having held roles at Cipriani Downtown Ibiza and The Berkeley, as well as completing a five-year tenure at The Connaught Bar, where she was promoted from supervisor to assistant manager.
Most recently, she worked for The Birley Group’s private members’ clubs, starting at George Club in 2015 before moving to Annabel’s in 2018. She spent more than two years at the latter venue as guest relations and duty manager.
“It is such an honour to be joining the team at Artesian, not only an iconic bar but part of Langham Hotels & Resorts, a hospitality brand I have always admired,” Pezzetta said.
“Artesian is the perfect place for me to home in on my experience and bring the knowledge I have acquired whilst working at London’s most prestigious private members clubs and five-star establishments.”
Her appointment is the latest development in a season of change for the award-winning bar, following the promotion of Giulia Cuccurullo to head bartender in June.
Pezzetta has taken over the bar manager role from Anna Sebastian, who left Artesian earlier this summer to join hard seltzer producer Served as the company’s head of brand.
Pezzetta concluded: “It’s quite easy to see why the bar is beloved by all, it’s a privilege to be a part of such an incredible team, to be part of Artesian’s next chapter and most importantly to welcome guests back in.”
