Teeling launches 32-year-old Irish whiskey
The Teeling Whiskey Company has added a 32-year-old Irish single malt whiskey to its Vintage Reserve Collection.
Only 750 bottles of the whiskey are available, initially from the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Celtic Whiskey Shop and select Irish retailers. It will be rolled out to international markets across Asia and Europe shortly.
Bottled at 46% ABV without being chill-filtered, the limited edition release has been priced at RRP €2,000 (US$2,365) per 700ml bottle.
Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company, said: “We are extremely proud to be able to release some of the oldest ever bottlings of Irish single malt with our Vintage Reserve Collection.
“These offerings are central to our goal to help drive diversity in Irish whiskey by introducing interesting and unique small batch bottlings.
“There is nothing else like these Irish single malts on the market and they represent a rare piece of Irish whiskey history in each bottle.”
In July last year, Teeling released the oldest whiskey in its Vintage Reserve Collection – a 37-year-old single malt.
Teeling has released numerous new bottlings in 2021, including the fourth and final whiskey in its Brabazon series, an 18-year-old bottling as part of its Renaissance range, and a distillery-exclusive expression to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
