Lost Explorer Mezcal expands distribution

The Lost Explorer Mezcal has partnered with Infuse Spirits Group to grow its US presence.

Infuse Spirits Group will lead US sales for The Lost Explorer Mezcal, making inroads in 12 markets by the end of 2021

The mezcal brand, which offers a portfolio of three agave spirits, is expanding its US distribution by teaming up with Infuse Spirits Group to tap major markets.

Infuse Spirits has set up base in 34 states for its single-bottle infused vodkas and whiskey brands.

Tanya Clarke, Lost Explorer Mezcal CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Infuse Sprits Group to bring The Lost Explorer Mezcal to even more consumers across the country.

“As a new brand entering the growing mezcal market and gaining recognition quickly, this partnership puts our sustainably-crafted and Oaxacan-made mezcal on the fast track for growth.”

Lost Explore Mezcal is made from 100% agave, available in three varietals: Espadín, Tobalá and Salmiana.

Espadín presents a sweet and fruity profile, Tobalá is an earthier expression and Salmiana offers hints of green chilli, grapefruit and fresh agave – the most herbaceous mezcal of the three.

Launched at the end of last year, the Salmiana expression was named Taste Master in The Spirits Business2021 Tequila and Mezcal Masters blind-tasting competition.

The Lost Explorer Mezcal is available in Mexico, the US and the UK. It can be bought online from Caskers.com, ReserveBar and Mercardo de Mezcal, or from high-end retailers throughout California.
