MGP partners with Standard Beverage

Third-party spirits producer MGP Ingredients has partnered with distributor Standard Beverage to support the growth of its brands in Kansas, US.

Green Hat Gin will be rolled out to other markets during 2021

Kansas-based Standard Beverage will represent the entire MGP portfolio, including Till American Wheat Vodka, George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Eight and Sand Blended Bourbon Whiskey and Green Hat Gin.

“We’re proud to partner with Standard Beverage to create programmes that build brand awareness and business impact in our home state,” said Andrew Mansinne, vice president of brands, MGP Ingredients.

“We look forward to introducing our full line of premium ryes, Bourbons, vodkas and gins – and the people who make them – to local spirits lovers. As a Kansas-based distillery we intend to work closely with Standard Beverage to support our hospitality community in these challenging times.”

Green Hat is currently available in Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington DC. It will be rolled out to other markets during the first half of 2021.

Headquartered in Atchison, Kansas, MGP Ingredients was founded in 1941 and operates sites in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Washington DC. The company recently agreed to acquire American whiskey maker Luxco in a deal valued at US$475 million.
