Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson says Teremana is on track to sell 300,000 cases in its first year

The Jumanji actor officially launched Teremana Tequila in March this year after teasing his ambitions for the brand in 2018.

Created in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Teremana was founded by Johnson, Dany Garcia, Ken Austin and Jenna Fagnan, who worked with a Mexican family-owned distillery.

Crafted in small batches, Teremana Tequila is made using 100% Blue Weber agave, roasted in brick ovens and distilled in copper pot stills.

In an Instagram post, Johnson said: “In less than one year we’re on track to sell 300,000 cases and ship roughly 400,000 cases of Teremana in our first year of business. (for [sic] context Clooney sold his Casamigos Tequila brand at roughly 175,000 cases).

“I am so grateful and humbled to receive this mind blowing news – but I’m in this for the long term and my goal is to build a Mana fuelled legacy for generations of Johnsons. Thank you all for loving your Teremana.”

The ultra-premium Tequila is available in the US, priced at RRP US$29.99 for its blanco Tequila and US$32.99 for the reposado bottling.

Teremana Tequila is distributed by Mast-Jägermeister.
