Proof Drinks creates support packages worth £250,000
UK distributor Proof Drinks will donate beverage packages to the on-trade worth £250,000 (US$308,000) in an effort to help venues “maximise their profits” following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Compass Box appointed Proof Drinks as its UK distributor earlier this month (June)
Proof Drinks’ founders and managing director Jeremy Hill will offer the company’s customers drinks packages with free stock from a number of Proof Drinks brands.
Hill said: “We pride ourselves on our relationships with all our customers and in a bid to help those most affected, we wanted to give something back to the hospitality sector.
“Distributors like Proof with a strong footing in retail and e-commerce were the least affected, so we are fortunate to be coming out of the other side with a healthy business and our team intact.
“Keeping our team together was absolutely crucial for us and thankfully they will all be available from the beginning of July to assist all our customers in any way they can when hospitality reopens.”
Earlier this month, Proof Drinks took over the UK distribution of independent Scotch whisky bottler Compass Box.
