Tullibardine unveils 15-year-old single malt

Highland distillery Tullibardine has added a new single malt Scotch whisky to its Fine Aged Collection – Tullibardine 15 Years Old.

Tullibardine 15 Years Old is the latest release from the Highland distillery

The whisky was distilled after Tullibardine’s reopening in 2003, and has been matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels.

Bottled at 43% ABV, the whisky is said to have aromas of dried hay and Parma Violets, with hints of baked apple, cloves and vanilla ice cream.

The palate is said to have notes of scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream, complemented by spices and a “subtle nuttiness” on the finish.

Keith Geddes, master distiller at Tullibardine Distillery, said: “It is a joy to introduce the 15-year-old to the world. This whisky really is something special with an abundance of beguiling flavours that sync perfectly together.

“It’s remarkable whisky that has been carefully crafted by our incredible, passionate team at our distillery nestled at the gateway of the Highlands. The whisky has a sweet warm character that fills the senses with nostalgic aromas.”
