ABG offers online masterclasses for bartenders

Amber Beverage Group’s global brand ambassadors will host digital masterclasses for bartenders across its Moskovskaya vodka, Rooster Rojo Tequila, Cross Keys Gin and Riga Black Balsam liqueur brands.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, consumers are being encouraged to stay at home in a bid to stop the spread of the disease.

To ensure bartender communities remain active, Amber Beverage Group (ABG) is offering digital masterclasses from its brand ambassadors.

“In a difficult time like this, we at Amber Beverage Group are trying everything in our power to make sure we support the bartending community, a community from which our brand ambassadors are coming from and are working for,” said Pepijn Janssens, chief marketing officer at ABG.

“Our brand ambassadors are confined to their homes because of the coronavirus, so they will start offering virtual masterclasses. Bartenders and other industry experts who are in the same situation are invited to join.”

Moskovskaya vodka’s global brand ambassador Felicity Gransden will host a masterclass on the story behind the brand and showcase its historical ingredients. She will also take consumers on the journey of the Moscow Mule cocktail.

The origins of the world’s oldest herbal liqueur, Riga Black Balsam, will also be revealed in a masterclass, held by global brand ambassador Justs Kiscenko. The workshop will dive into the beginning of mixology in the 1960s up until the use of the bitter in modern day.

Meanwhile, Rooster Rojo Tequila global brand ambassador Ansis Anvos will talk about the product, the Tequila category, regional specifications and production in an online masterclass. He will present classic Tequila cocktails and twists on classic serves.

A Cross Keys Gin masterclass will uncover the flavours of the Baltic brand and introduce consumers to the “secret of the cocktails aged in clay bottles”. It will also be presented by brand ambassador Kiscenko.

The “most active” participants in each workshop will be awarded with survival packages sent to their homes.
