Edinburgh Gin

Produced by Scottish firm Ian Macleod Distillers, Edinburgh Gin’s Master-winning Elderflower Gin Liqueur, and Gold medallists Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur and Plum and Vanilla Gin Liqueur, will be available to sample.

The products stormed to success during The Travel Retail Masters 2019, which awards brands available in the duty free market.

The “fresh and lively” Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur (20% ABV) is made with spring-crop rhubarb, oriental ginger and classic Edinburgh Gin.

It is recommended served in a Bramble, over ice, topped with Prosecco, or mixed with ginger ale and garnished with fresh ginger and a lime twist.

Angus Dundee Distillers

Scotch whisky producer Angus Dundee Distillers will also showcase its top single malt bottlings in The Global Spirits Masters Zone.

Available to sample at the show is Master medallist Glencadam 17, which was said to have an “elegant and metallic” profile with notes of “light smoke and orchard fruit” during The Scotch Whisky Masters 2019 competition.

Scotch fans can also enjoy drams of the Gold-winning Tomintoul 16 Year Old and Tomintoul 21 Year Old at the show.

Tomintoul is thought to be one of the highest distilleries in the Scottish Highlands. The site lies close to the River Avon and is nestled in the Cromdale Hills.

Never Never Distilling Co

More gins will also be on offer from Australia’s Never Never Distilling Co, which grabbed two Gold medals for its Southern Strength Gin and Juniper Freak Gin during The Gin Masters 2019 competition.

Southern Strength Gin is bottled at 52% ABV and is described as a “savoury” overproof expression. It is made by “elevating” the brand’s flagship angelica root, coriander seed and lemon character.

Meanwhile, Juniper Freak Gin (58% ABV) is said to be a navy strength expression of the brand’s triple juniper bottling. It is said to have “fragrant pine and earthy angelica” on the nose, along with a “rich and luxurious” palate.
