Wine & Spirits Show returns for 2020
After two sell-out events, The Spirits Business and the drinks business will once again join forces to host the third Wine & Spirits Show in London this April.
The Wine & Spirits Show is returning for its third outing in April
The Wine & Spirits Show will return to The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London on 3 and 4 April 2020.
The relaxed and informative show was attended by 1,500 wine and spirits lovers in 2019, as well as 350 members of the drinks trade.
As with previous shows, the event will be divided into two halls: one dedicated to wine and the other to spirits.
There will be two masterclass theatres, offering brands and producers the opportunity to present their products and educate visitors. Details of the full masterclass schedule will be revealed several weeks before the show.
Last year’s show saw Ocho Tequila’s Jesse Estes host a masterclass dedicated to the ‘wonderful world of agave’, while Phil Duffy from Amathus Drinks and Joseph Hall from Satan’s Whiskers explored the ‘new era of Cognac’.
Back by popular demand is the New Products Zone, which will showcase the latest drinks products on the market. Visitors will be asked to vote for their favourite product and the overall winner will be featured in the drinks business or The Spirits Business magazines.
Guests will also be able to sample award-winning wines and spirits from The Global Spirits Masters and Global Wine Masters series of blind-tasting competitions.
Beer lovers can enjoy a wide range of brews across different styles and continents, including bottlings that scored highly in the Global Beer Masters competition.
The Gin & Tonic bar will also return, offering guests one free G&T included with the purchase of a ticket.
The Wine & Spirits Show will open at 2pm until 8pm on Friday 3 April. On Saturday 4 April, the show will be held from 1pm until 7pm. Tickets are available here.
There is a dedicated trade session for professionals in the wine and spirits industry, held from 2-5pm on Friday 3 April. To sign up for the free session, click here.
