Vinexpo Paris unveils further details of Be Spirits concept
Wine and spirits trade show Vinexpo has revealed further details of its new Be Spirits concept, which will debut at the inaugural Paris event in 2020.
Be Spirits is described as a “show within a show” that will provide a “360-degree vision” of the international bar scene.
The new concept will feature The Infinite Bar, which will be as long as an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The bar will showcase 24 spirits brands in partnership with 24 bartenders from Paris venues.
The Infinite Bar will showcase current and future trends in spirits and offer visitors a chance to discover new spirits, taste cocktails, and meet some of Europe’s top bartenders.
Be Spirits will also feature a number of conferences across various topics, led by distillery owners and renowned bartenders. It will be grouped into two themes: Be Mixology and Be Brand.
Be Mixology will analyse key trends in the global spirits market, such as the growing success of no- and low-alcohol, the cocktail consumption experience, and the bar identity.
Meanwhile, Be Brand will focus on the revival of ancient alcoholic drinks, brands’ commitment to the environment and the development of new spirits brands and customised products.
Be Spirits will welcome professionals from across the industry, including importers, distributors, buyers, journalists, bloggers, e-commerce brands, restaurant chains, and duty free operators.
