Lakes Distillery redesigns vodka bottle
By Nicola CarruthersCumbria’s Lakes Distillery has revealed a new bottle design for The Lakes Vodka to bring it in line with the company’s whisky and gin.
The bottle for Lakes Vodka has been redesignedThe Lakes Vodka is now presented in an embossed British-made glass bottle.
The expression, created by The Lakes Distillery’s whisky maker, Dhavall Gandhi, is said to retain the “distinctive characteristics of the finest British wheat for a sweeter, more rounded flavour”.
Kirsty Taylor, marketing director at The Lakes, said: “Everything we do at The Lakes is focused on quality and we want to reflect the excellence of the liquid in the bottle in its presentation.
“Drinkers of The Lakes Vodka are discerning, demanding and sophisticated people, so it is important that all aspects of our brand represent our values and the time, expertise and care that goes into making each spirit.”
The redesigned bottle is available to buy from The Lakes Distillery’s website. Bottled at 40% ABV, the vodka has been priced at £35 (US$45).
Last month, The Lakes Distillery “recreated” its Lakes Gin using botanicals inspired by perfumers and chefs. Meanwhile, in September this year, The Lakes Distillery released the first limited edition in its Whiskymaker’s Reserve series, designed to showcase its “Sherry-led” house style.
The Lakes Distillery is on track to almost double its production of whisky next year.
