Wine Show Chelsea names first exhibitors for 2019

The Spirits Business and the drinks business have revealed the first spirits exhibitors for the upcoming Wine Show Chelsea in London.

For those who have a penchant for coffee, don’t miss Mis Amigos Coffee Agave Spirit at the Wine Show Chelsea

Organised by the two magazines, the third Wine Show Chelsea will take place at Chelsea Old Town Hall on 18-20 October.

More than 2,500 drinks fans are expected to attend this year’s event, which will offer a three-day programme of tasting, networking and learning.

New to the show is G&I Spirit Group, which will showcase the award-winning 88 Vodka, 88 Gin, Jillions Gin, and Mis Amigos Chocolate, Chocolate & Lime and Coffee Tequilas and agave spirits.

At the Wine Show Chelsea, G&I is also hoping to launch some new products which are “in the final stages of development”.

By this time next year, the company hopes to have extended its vodka, gin and Tequila range and launch a new range of rums, Cognacs and Scotch whiskies.

This year’s show will also feature independent Scotch whisky producer Angus Dundee Distillers, which will showcase its gin and whisky range including bottlings of Tomintoul and Glencadam single cask expressions.

The company owns the Tomintoul distillery on Speyside and Glencadam at Brechin, in the east of Scotland.

Nordés Gin

Next year, Angus Dundee hopes to achieve “greater brand awareness and sales” for its Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt.

Drinks distribution agency Craftwork will be bringing the fastest-growing premium gin in Spain to the Wine Show Chelsea, called Nordés Gin. The expression is made with local Albariño grape spirit, and botanicals including sage, bay and samphire.

According to the firm, the Galician gin is “gaining lots of interest in the UK” following its pop-up bar programme across the summer.

Visitors will also be able to exclusively taste Soggy Dollar Rum and Soggy Dollar Spiced Rum at Craftwork’s stand.

Members of the trade will be invited to attend The Wine Show Chelsea on Friday 18 October from 1pm-5pm. The event will be open to consumers from 1pm-8pm on 18 October, 1pm-7pm on 19 October, and 12.30pm-6pm on 20 October. If you’re a member of the trade, you can register your attendance for free here.

Exhibitor stands are still available to book for a limited time only. For more details of the show, or for information on how to get involved, contact Chloe Beral – chloe@thedrinksbusiness.com.
