Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds has ‘leaked’ footage from a marketing shoot for Aviation Gin, which includes several abandoned taglines for the American brand.

In an email from Reynolds’ supposed address at Aviation Gin, the Pokémon Detective Pikachu star jokingly wrote: “What in the fresh hell is going on with our marketing department?

“Let’s cancel my afternoon fish pedi because I’ve gotta solve this myself.”

Despite Reynolds’ calls to “erase the tapes” and prevent a repeat of his “previous reply all incident”, attached to his frantic message was footage of the company’s abandoned taglines.

Now available to watch on YouTube, the footage features abandoned slogans for the brand such as “Aviation American Gin, if you’re drinking anything else you’re drinking bullshit”.

The clip, which is available to watch below, includes several attempts from Reynolds to find the perfect tagline for the gin, including “Aviation Gin, it’s just vodka after its wish was granted,” and “it tastes like god cried in your mouth”.

The ‘leaked’ Aviation test footage isn’t the first time the Canadian actor has been caught up with leakers. In 2014 test footage of his interpretation of superhero Deadpool was posted online, prompting calls for the comic book star to get his own film.

Earlier this year, Reynolds, who purchased Oregon-made Aviation Gin in February 2018, released a short humorous video showing his commitment to the brand ahead of Father’s Day (16 June).
