Early Times searches for ‘all-American dogs’

Kentucky whiskey brand Early Times has scoured the US for “all-American dogs” to feature in a 2020 calendar and billboard campaign.

Early Times searched for “all-American dogs” to feature in a 2020 calendar

The campaign called on dog owners and whiskey fans to post pictures of their pets online, with 10 dogs selected to feature in a 2020 calendar and across “congratulatory billboards” in their hometowns.

Dallas Cheatham, Early Times senior brand manager, said: “We figured out a while ago that people who love Early Times also love talking about their dogs, so it was a fun way to connect.

“As dog lovers ourselves, our team really enjoyed sorting through all the amazing entries that we received. There were so many great stories that showed real spirit, courage, and resilience, which falls in line with what Early Times represents.”

Early Times has also created a special cocktail for people to toast their dogs with. The Dog-Tail is made with Early Times, lemonade, cranberry juice and is garnished with a pretzel stick garnish.

To find out more about the ‘all-American dogs’ featured in the campaign, whiskey fans can visit the Early Times website where a page has been set up to showcase the stories of each dog featured in the campaign.

The 2020 All-American Dogs calendar will be available to the public in both a printed and downloadable version.
