Vinexpo Paris under patronage of French president
Inaugural trade show Vinexpo Paris 2020 has been placed under the patronage of France’s president, Emmanuel Macron.
The first Vinexpo Paris 2020 show will be held on 10-12 February next yearThe show said this honour “enhances Vinexpo’s professionalism and international scope”.
The 2019 edition of Vinexpo Bordeaux, held from 13 to 16 May, was also placed under the patronage of Macron.
Vinexpo’s exhibitions are the only wine and spirits events to be granted such a distinction.
The 2020 show, which marks Vinexpo’s debut in the French capital, has been combined with Wine Paris and will be held on 10-12 February 2020 at the Paris Convention Centre.
Established in 1981, Vinexpo now hosts exhibitions in five cities around the world – Bordeaux, Hong Kong, New York, and soon Shanghai and Paris – in addition to a “travelling event”, Vinexpo Explorer.
