Neptune Rum names Gary Squire CEO

Ocean-inspired Neptune Rum has recruited Gary Squire as CEO and created a new executive management team to execute its global growth strategy.

Gary Squire has been appointed CEO of Neptune Rum

Squire previously worked as sales director for Bacardi Martini and boasts years of experience across the FMCG and drinks industries, including roles at Mars, Whitbread, Bass Brewers and Britvic.

In addition to Squire’s appointment, Neptune Rum has also recruited Lloyd White as director of sales, who brings 20 years’ experience working across the food and drinks sector.

Furthermore, Trevor Moore has been appointed travel retail director of Neptune Rum, as the brand looks to focus on the travel retail channel as part of its 2019 strategy for growth.

Richard Davies, Neptune Rum founder, said: “We are delighted to have this team in place. Expanding the leadership team, who have 80 years of global experience and success between them, is essential to driving Neptune forward and developing the brand in the hearts and minds of the consumers.”

Earlier this month, Neptune Rum recruited three new brand ambassadors in the UK to cover London, Gloucestershire, Cornwall and Devon.
