Trio of brand ambassadors join Neptune Rum
By Melita KielyNeptune Rum has appointed three new brand ambassadors in the UK to cover London, Gloucestershire, Cornwall and Devon.
Timos Spanos is one of three new brand ambassadors for Neptune RumYves Calabre will work as the brand’s London ambassador and also export manager for France.
Calabre moved from France to the UK in 2001 and has worked in consultancy, and opened restaurants, bars and clubs in both Paris and London. In 2017, he became a brand ambassador for Amathus Drinks.
Timos Spanos brings 17 years’ experience to Neptune Rum, as he takes up the position of Gloucestershire-based brand ambassador.
Spanos owns the Kamini Cocktail Bar in Greece and also works as a spirit reviewer and bar consultant, and prides himself on being a rum enthusiast.
Jeremy Jewitt completes the trio of new ambassadors, and will look after Cornwall and Devon. He boasts more than 15 years’ experience working in the London bar industry as bartender and general manager at his own venue, Made in the Shade.
In 2015, Jewitt left London for Asia to work as a bar consultant, which led him to Sri Lanka to work as hospitality manager of The Ozo hotel in Colombo and consultant for Cape Weligama.
