Marjanen has worked as a global ambassador in the drinks industry for the past three years. As Healthy Hospo champion in Finland, Marjanen will be tasked with spreading the company’s health and wellness message and providing support across Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Healthy Hospo will kick-start its work in the Nordics with its signature ‘wellness workshop’, which will take place in Helsinki, Finland, on 22 April.

The workshops offer a day of “inspiring seminars, good food, great friends and meaningful conversations”.

Marjanen said: “To build a healthier and happier culture in our industry, we need to keep questioning what makes our people healthy and happy first.

“Launching Healthy Hospo in Finland, coined one of the happiest countries in the world, is especially interesting as I’m sure we will get great conversation going around the concepts of health and happiness and what they mean for the people in our industry.”

Tim Etherington-Judge founded Healthy Hospo in 2017 as a project to promote health and wellness in the hospitality industry.

He said: “I’ve been a huge fan of Pauliina since we first met a few years ago and to have her bring her compassion, professionalism and love for helping those in the industry to our work at Healthy Hospo is the perfect way to expand our mission into the Nordics.”

Etherington-Judge previously worked as global ambassador for Bulleit Bourbon, and has spoken publicly about living with depression after he suffered a severe mental breakdown in 2016.

The founder celebrated his 42nd birthday last month, and revealed plans to run 42 marathons in 42 days in a bid to raise £42,000 (US$54,000) for industry charity The Benevolent.
