Discontinued Bourbon back in stock after two years

Whiskey fans can now purchase the Valentine Distilling Company’s Mayor Pringee Red Label Bourbon for the first time in two years after the brand was temporarily discontinued due to stock shortages.

Mayor Pringee Red Label Bourbon is back on the market in limited quantities

Mayor Pringee Red Label Bourbon is made from whiskey that has been aged for at least four years and bottled at 47% abv without chill filtration.

The release comprises 3,900 bottles, which will be distributed across nine US states: Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Maryland, Washington DC, Connecticut, Delaware and New Jersey.

A second batch is set to launch in autumn 2019 and will be made up of a similar number of bottles.

Rifino Valentine, president and founder of Valentine Distilling Co, said: “Eleven years ago, when I started this company, I made the vow of producing products that compete not only locally, but internationally.

“By doing small releases more frequently, it ensures that we only bottle the choicest casks, when they are truly mature. These releases are limited because the whiskey has to tell us when it’s ready.”

Detroit-based Valentine Distilling Co celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2018, an occasion that coincided with the completion of its US$1 million distillery expansion.
