Campari named spirits partner for New York Film Fest

Italian apéritif Campari has teamed up with the New York Film Festival (NYFF) to become its exclusive spirits partner.

Campari continues its commitment to film with a new partnership with the New York Film Festival

The two-year partnership will see Campari become the exclusive spirits partner at the 57th and 58th editions of the annual film festival and the presenting partner of the festival’s gala event.

“Our partnership with the New York Film Festival is a major step forward in continuing our devotion to film and the arts,” said Melanie Batchelor, vice president marketing at Campari America.

“The festival is the perfect place to share our excitement about Entering Red and support the creative individuals who devote themselves to making captivating films for film lovers. We look forward to toasting a collaborative partnership with a Negroni in hand.”

NYFF director Kent Jones added: “We are thrilled to be working with Campari to elevate our most important event of the year.

“Our festival prides itself on presenting the best in international cinema without competition, because, above all, our mission is to support the art and craft of cinema and foster film culture; it’s very meaningful to collaborate with a partner that shares those values.”

Campari has often associated itself with films including its iconic calendar series, which has featured a number of leading actors.

Blade Runner 2049 star Ana de Armas was the latest famous face to front a short film for the Campari Red Diaries 2019.

In July last year, Campari was named the main sponsor of the 75th Venice International Film Festival.
