In her new role, Bourdier will oversee marketing across the domestic markets of Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand, as well as global travel retail.

Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Bourdier worked with Bacardi-Martini where she served as regional director Europe for travel retail. She previously held a similar role for Asia Pacific and has also served as global marketing and sales director for Bacardi French Brands and Château de Cognac.

Bourdier has also held positions with Diageo-Moët-Hennessy in Asia.

Marshall Farrer, senior vice president, managing director, global travel retail and developed Asia Pacific for Brown-Forman, said: “Aude Bourdier is not just an established presence in the global travel retail channel but is a highly respected professional with a wealth of experience in important markets across Asia and the Pacific. She will be a terrific addition to the Brown-Forman team.”

During her time working in the travel retail sector, Bourdier has been elected to the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) management committee several times and served on the organisation’s board as vice president, commercial.

Bourdier’s appointment becomes effective November 5, 2018.

Earlier this year, Brown-Forman-owned Bourbon brand Woodford Reserve launched a travel retail-exclusive Cognac cask-finished expression bottled in Baccarat crystal.
