Wine & Spirits Show reveals final exhibitors

The Wine & Spirits Show is poised to be an unmissable event for drinks lovers this weekend, with final exhibitors for the inaugural event now confirmed.

Unit Six Gin is produced by White Rock Brewery

Hosted by The Spirits Business and the drinks business teams, the event will take place tomorrow and Saturday (12-13 October) at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London, when leading wine and spirits brands will come together for an exciting programme of discussions, tastings and learning.

Guernsey-based White Rock Brewery will give visitors the opportunity to taste its new gin brand – Unit Six Gin – at the show, which is made by putting six botanicals through vacuum distillation.

It is described as having “delicate floral bursts mingled with pervasive sweet pine, topped with an abundantly fresh aroma and pronounced light juniper beset with sweet peppercorns and fresh bergamot”.

Also joining the line-up will be Spanish Oak, which will be showcasing its brandy at the Wine & Spirits Show – it’s first appearance outside of Spain.

Masons Lavender Edition Gin and Tea Edition Gin

Meanwhile, English producer Mason Yorkshire Gin will be bringing its Masons Original, Masons Tea Edition, Masons Lavender Edition and G12 Edition gins to the show.

The Yorkshire-based company was founded in June 2013 by husband and wife team Karl and Cathy Mason. The Bedale-based distillery aims to export to three more countries by the end of 2019.

The Wine & Spirits Show will encompass two halls – one dedicated to wine and one to spirits – and will feature a number of masterclasses for the trade and consumers. More details on the masterclasses can be found here.

Spirits exhibitors already confirmed include Amber Glen Scotch Whisky, Bolney’s Rosso Vermouth, Horseguards London Dry Gin, Código 1530 Rosa Tequila, and Orkney Gin Rhubarb Old Tom. For more information on these exhibitors, click here.

The show will also feature a dedicated gin bar, showcasing a number of leading spirits brands accompanied by tonics from innovative mixer producer Double Dutch. Ticket holders will receive one free gin and tonic at the bar.

Trade professionals will be welcome from 1-5pm on the Friday. Doors will open to consumers from 1-9pm on the Friday and 12-8pm on the Saturday.
