Our/Los Angeles Vodka is hoping to increase its ties to the local community with a podcast that features interviews with Los Angeles influencers.
Our/Los Angeles Vodka is the latest spirit brand to launch a podcast
The American vodka brand will feature interviews with local tastemakers and entrepreneurs on its podcast, which is available to download on iTunes and Stitcher.
The interviewees include local congressional candidate and volcano scientist Jess Phoenix; Los Angeles drag act The Boulet Brothers; and Maja D’Aoust, a practicing witch.
Rupert Runewitsch, partner for Our/Los Angeles, said: “We believe there’s so many unique things and people in Los Angeles and consider the podcast and zine an extension of our brand.
“Locals and visitors alike can get the full Los Angeles experience in tasting our vodka and immersing themselves in the culture of the city. They can sip locally, listen locally and read locally. It’s full circle.”
Each episode in the series has been recorded at the distillery in Los Angeles’ Arts District and guests were given the opportunity to tour the site and sample the brand’s expressions.
The 10-episode series is available to stream now, and the first episode features interviews with burlesque professional wrestlers Rita D’Albert and Lil Cholo.
The podcast from Our/Los Angeles Vodka follows releases by Jack Daniel’s and New Amsterdam Vodka.
