New Amsterdam and Spotify partner for podcast

New Amsterdam Vodka has partnered with music streaming service Spotify to launch its Ebb & Flow podcast, presented by DJ Jasmine Solano.

Ebb & Flow is sponsored by New Amsterdam Vodka and is presented by DJ Jasmine Solano

Ebb & Flow, which launched on Spotify this week, has been sponsored by the E&J Gallo-owned vodka brand and is Spotify’s first branded original podcast series.

Hosted by musician and DJ Solano, the five-part series will see her present a number of “candid conversations” with rising hip-hop artists and entrepreneurs who have risen to the top of their respective disciplines.

Ebb & Flow will feature appearances from guests including American rapper Bryce Vine, Albanian singer GASHI, rapper J.I.D, Californian musician Saweetie and New York-born rapper Skizzy Mars.

The series aims to be “raw, personal, and real” as it discusses “the struggles and celebration of the journey” of each interviewee.

Solano, who is also an ambassador for New Amsterdam Vodka, said the brand has always been supportive of artists and creatives.

She said: “New Amsterdam Vodka [has its] finger on the pulse in terms of what to support. A lot of artists and entrepreneurs need partnerships, especially for creative ideas that need funding and backing. New Amsterdam Vodka has been one of those brands identifying projects and people that are pushing the culture forward.

“The ethos of New Amsterdam Vodka is similar to that of a touring artist: the person that is always out pushing the needle and making the most of life. It’s definitely the perfect partnership.”

New Amsterdam Vodka is not the first spirit brand to launch its own podcast – earlier this year Jack Daniel’s launched the Around The Barrel series.
