G’Vine has joined Waldemar Behn’s Family Brands AllianceG’Vine joins Waldemar Behn-owned Danzka vodka, Pallinni Limoncello and Bache-Gabrielsen Cognac in the Family Brands Alliance, which was formed in September last year to “optimise logistics, marketing and service” in a changing travel retail environment.
Launched in 2006 by Villevert owner Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, G’Vine is a super-premium grape-based gin blended with 10 botanicals, including vine flowers.
“We at G’Vine gin look forward to this partnership of singularly-owned producers of such fine crafted spirits,” said Robicquet.
“Working together will allow us to reinforce the presence of our unique products in this channel of the market and meet its needs.”
Robicquet, who distils Ciroc vodka for Diageo, recently entered into a partnership with Scottish distiller William Grant & Sons for his La Guilde du Cognac range.
According to Waldemar Behn, members of the Family Brands Alliance are already benefitting from the “synergies” of working together.
Philippe Biais, Waldemar Behn’s export director, said: “G’Vine will definitely strengthen the existing portfolio of the alliance and greatly help us in our mission to even better serve the global duty free and travel retail market.
“Each member of the alliance brings a distinctly different spirit to the group, which together is creating a unique offer for travel retail.”
