Copperworks marks five years with single cask whiskey
Seattle-based spirits producer Copperworks Distilling Co is set to release a single cask American single malt whiskey to mark its five-year anniversary.

The distillery opened in early October 2013 and to mark its fifth birthday, the distillery is about to launch Release 016, the company’s first whiskey matured in 100% French oak.
Copperworks normally uses American oak barrels to age its spirits.
Copperworks American Single Malt Whisky (Release 016) will launch tomorrow (13 October) and will be available from the Copperworks Tasting Room and via the online store.
Bottled at 58.9% abv, the expression will carry an RRP of US$76.49 per 750ml bottle (excluding taxes and shipping costs).
In July this year, Copperworks Distilling partnered with Elliott Bay Brewing Company to release 251 bottles of an IPA cask-finished gin.
