Grey Goose relaunches vanilla-flavoured vodka

Bacardi-owned Grey Goose vodka has reintroduced its vanilla-flavoured expression following demand from bartenders.

Grey Goose La Vanille

Grey Goose La Vanille will be available in the UK and US for the first time since its launch in 2003. The expression will be available for a limited time.

The bottling is made by blending Grey Goose with natural vanilla flavour sourced from beans harvested in Madagascar.

Production of La Vanille was halted to focus on the brand’s core flavours.

The expression has been brought back following “demand for premium vanilla-flavoured vodka”. According to the brand, vanilla is a top-selling flavour in the spirits category – growing by 40% year-on-year.

“For years, bartenders have been telling me about their creative cocktail recipes inspired by Grey Goose La Vanille when it first launched 15 years ago,” said Joe McCanta, Grey Goose global ambassador.

“We’re excited that it will once again be back on shelves and behind bars for a limited time and look forward to giving the bartending community a chance to resurrect some of those bygone recipes this holiday season.”

Grey Goose La Vanille is recommended served in an Espresso Martini.

The Grey Goose range includes Grey Goose Vodka, Grey Goose Interpreted by Ducasse, Grey Goose La Poire, Grey Goose L’Orange, Grey Goose Le Citron, and Grey Goose VX Spirit Drink.

The expression will also return to the UK at London Cocktail Week (1-7 October) and will be available in bars across London and on Ocado and Amazon from mid-October.
