Fentimans launches gin baking portal

Botanically-brewed mixer manufacturer Fentimans has launched an online series of gin and tonic-infused baking recipes.

Fentimans’ list of gin-based recipes includes gin and elderflower cupcakes

The premium mixer brand recently unveiled a gin bakery pop-up in partnership with 2017 Great British Bake Off winner Sophie Faldo.

Recipes from the London pop-up are now available online for budding bakers to recreate at home.

G&T fans will be able to mix up gin and elderflower cupcakes, gin and pink grapefruit tonic cheesecake, gin and Valencia orange tonic chocolate tart and a gin and rose lemonade drizzle cake.

Fentimans marketing manager, Sarah Brownrigg, said: “Our consumers love of baking has inspired us to find a way to bring together two of the country’s favourite things – gin and baking, and what better time to launch the recipes than during a month that sees Great British Bake Off return to our screens. Let the baking be-gin!”

Fentimans is also encouraging the public to get involved, asking bakers to share photos of their home-made gin baking delights on social media to be in with the chance of winning a KitchenAid mixer.

All recipes can be accessed online at fentimans.com/bakery.
