Tortuga Brands to distribute Lambay Irish Whiskey

Newly launched sales, marketing and distribution agency Tortuga Brands has added Lambay Irish Whiskey to its portfolio in the UK.

Lambay Irish Whiskey currently offers two expressions finished in Cognac casks

Tortuga Brands, which launched in June, will distribute Lambay Irish Whiskey’s two expressions in the UK.

Lambay Irish Whiskey is the result of a collaboration between Cognac producer Camus and the Baring family’s Revelstoke Trust, the brand currently offers two Irish whiskey expressions finished in Cognac casks.

Peter Davie, Tortuga Brands co-founder, said: “Lambay is a wonderful product that has the unique proposition of being finished in Cognac casks, giving a complex flavour to the whiskey with selected casks maturing on the island of Lambay adjacent to Dublin.

“Tortuga is delighted to partner with Lambay in the UK market and we look forward to this new and exciting partner joining our stable of hand-picked, super premium products.”

Tortuga Brands will distribute Lambay Small Batch Blend Irish Whiskey and Lambay Single Malt Irish Whiskey to independent and national wholesalers and online retailers in the UK.

Jean-David Costerg, managing director of Lambay Irish Whiskey Company, said: “Lambay Irish Whiskey Company is delighted to partner with Tortuga Brands and the Lambay Whiskey range will be a great addition to their craft portfolio and dually give us the right level of focus in a very competitive and dynamic market.”
