Halewood inks Beluga Vodka distribution deal

Halewood Wines & Spirits has secured UK and Republic of Ireland distribution rights for super-premium Russian vodka brand Beluga.

Beluga Vodka has appointed Halewood Wines & Spirits as its UK distributor

From 1 July, Halewood will take over from Cellar Trends to supply both the on- and off- trade with Beluga’s portfolio of spirits, including the Noble, Transatlantic, Allure, Gold Line, and Hunting expressions.

Sergey Mikhaylov, export manager for Western Europe at Beluga Group, said: “Thanks to its superb marketing and distribution expertise, Halewood has built a proven track record for taking brilliant brands further.

“As such, we’re confident the business can deliver significant growth for us in the UK, which remains one of the world’s largest luxury vodka markets.”

The range hails from the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia, which was established in 1900.

Stewart Hainsworth, group CEO at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said: “Beluga has built a worldwide reputation for producing high quality vodka and for that reason it’s an excellent extension of Halewood’s existing range of innovative and artisanal spirits.

“We see tremendous opportunity to take the brand on to even greater success.”

Beluga will join Halewood’s portfolio of vodka brands, which includes  JJ Whitley Potato and Rhubarb Vodkas, Whitley Neill Blood Orange and Rye Vodkas, Liverpool Vodka, and Glasgow Distillery’s G52 Urban Craft Vodka.

Earlier this year, the UK-based distributor announced it had been appointed by Colombian rum producer Dictador to distribute its range of spirits in the UK.
