Saunders returns to Bibendum
Bibendum’s former long-standing managing director, Michael Saunders, has rejoined the firm following its sale to C&C Group last month.
Michael Saunders has returned to Bibendum
Saunders first joined Bibendum in 1983 and worked as managing director until 2016 when he moved to parent company Conviviality Plc. He stepped down as the business development director for Conviviality in December 2017.
Following the collapse of Conviviality, Magners Cider maker C&C Group acquired on-trade distributors Bibendum and Matthew Clark.
James Kowszun will also return to Bibendum as chief operating officer, a role he had previously held for nine years.

Saunders added: “After spending my entire career at Bibendum, it feels incredibly special to be back. The Bibendum team, our customers and our suppliers have been part of my life for so long, the decision to rejoin was easy.
“As part of the C&C Group, I know we have the backing to quickly strengthen and develop what is already a great business. James and I will be joining a strong group of people, who share our passion and determination to take Bibendum to the next level.”
