Dr Adam Elmegirab’s signs Finland distribution deal
Scottish producer Dr Adam Elmegirab’s is set to launch its range of spirits and cocktail bitters in Finland after signing a distribution deal with Vinoble Oy.
Dr Adam Elmegirab’s will now distribute its Old Tom gin and cocktail bitters in Finland
Dr Adam Elmegirab’s portfolio, which includes an Old Tom gin and a range of cocktail bitters, will be available across the country later this month (May).
The brand will join the Vinoble Oy portfolio, which currently includes Compass Box whisky, Pussers Rum and spirits from the East London Liquor Company.
Dr Adam Elmegirab’s was founded in 2009, designed to offer cocktail bitters produced “by bartenders, for bartenders”. Its range of bitters includes a winter spiced expression and dandelion and burdock-flavoured bottling.
Earlier this year, Dr Adam Elmegirab’s expanded its range with the launch of House of Botanicals Old Tom Gin.
The gin is distilled in London with botanicals including juniper berries, angelica root and orris root, before the gin is shipped to brand’s facility in Aberdeen where it is compounded with saffron and chamomile flowers from Morocco.
To finish and create the Old Tom style, Dr Adam Elmegirab’s sweetens the gin with muscovado sugar before bottling at 47% abv.
The Old Tom gin and cocktail bitters are currently available across select markets in Europe, the Far East, the Middle East and the US, with the brand continuing its worldwide roll-out.
The Aberdeen-based brand also produces a duo of beard oils for bartenders, based on its Spanish and Orinoco Bitters expressions.
