Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla prepares to launch

Diageo has created a new flavour variant of Tanqueray gin made with oranges from Seville in southern Spain: Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla.

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla will first launch in Spain and the UK

The new expression is said to have a tangy, sweet flavour, with notes of tangerine, juniper and coriander.

Bottled at 41.3% abv, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla will first launch in the UK and Spain this month at an RRP of £25 (€28/US$35) per 700ml bottle.

The gin’s availability will then be expanded to Canada and global travel retail channels in May.

“Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is something really new for the world of gin and reflects our love of innovating with flavour,” said Anita Robinson, Europe category director for gin at brand owner Diageo. “We’re sure that bartenders everywhere will enjoy bringing a little bit of Seville into their customers’ lives this summer.”

Tanqueray has had a busy start to 2018. In February, the brand launched a pre-mixed Tanqueray and tonic in Australia – the first ready-to-drink (RTD) release from the gin.

Later that same month, Tanqueray revamped the design of its Rangpur expression ahead of its launch in Brazil and Australia.

Then in March, Diageo revealed plans to bring back spiced gin Tanqueray Malacca following demand from bartenders.
