Roust ends global travel retail partnership with Rémy

Russian Standard Vodka owner Roust Group has taken management of its global travel retail business in house, ending a long-term relationship with Rémy Cointreau in the channel.

Roust will manage Russian Standard Vodka in travel retail from 1 April

A new organisational structure will allow Roust to directly manage Russian Standard in GTR from its international office in London.

From 1 April, Roust will also manage its Żubrówka, Green Mark, Soplica, Kauffman, Parliament and Talka vodka brands in GTR, as well as Italian sparkling wine and vermouth brand, Gancia

French drinks firm Rémy Cointreau has handled Roust’s portfolio in global travel retail since 2009. By value, Russian Standard is now the 5th largest vodka brand in the channel, according to IWSR data, and is distributed in more than 80 domestic TR markets.

Roust and Rémy Cointreau will continue their joint-cooperation in a number of key domestic markets, including Russia, Poland and Hungary.

In April 2017, Roust extended its distribution agreement with Rémy Cointreau in Russia for another three years.
