Roust Group will continue to distribute Rémy Cointreau’s brands in Russia, including the full Rémy Martin portfolio
Roust Group will continue the distribution and marketing support in Russian of the French drinks group’s major brands, including the full portfolio of Rémy Martin and Louis XIII, Cointreau, Metaxa, St-Rémy, Progressive Hebridean Distilleries Malts and The Botanist Gin.
Roust will also expand the Rémy Cointreau’s portfolio with the exclusive launch of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal, Cointreau Blood Orange and Cointreau Noir products in Russia.
Rémy Cointreau is also a long-term strategic partner of Roust in Poland and Hungary, as well as in duty free, where the firm’s Global Travel Retail unit exclusively distributes Russian Standard.
“We are pleased to renew and reinforce our relationship with Roust Group, which has been a key partner in building our solid market position in Russia. We are convinced this new agreement will enable us to take it to the next level and achieve our goal of becoming the leader in exceptional spirits in the Russian market,” comments Valérie Chapoulaud Floquet, CEO of the Rémy Cointreau Group.
Roustam Tariko, Roust Group’s founder and chairman of the Board of Directors, added: “We are proud of our long-term successful strategic partnership with Rémy Cointreau in the last 12 years, and we have great expectations for further strong growth of Rémy Cointreau’s world known high-end brands in Russia.”
The partnership began in 2005 with the distribution of the Rémy Martin Cognac portfolio in Russia. The distribution agreement was then expanded several times to include Metaxa, Cointreau, St-Rémy, Mount Gay Rum, Bruichladdich and The Botanist.
