Campari announces senior management change

Gruppo Campari has appointed a new general counsel and business development officer, as current officer Stefano Saccardi prepares to retire.

Campari has named a new general counsel and business development officer

Saccardi, whose career spans over three decades, will retire from the role next year, but remain in office as a member of the board of directors of Davide Campari-Milano until the natural expiry date of his mandate in 2019.

Fabio di Fede will succeed Saccardi from 1 Janaury 2018. He originally joined the company in 1999 and previously worked at Campari as international managing director, but left the firm in 2014 “choosing to return to Monaco for family reasons”.

Di Fede currently holds the post of managing director of Société des Produits Marnier Lapostolle, a Campari subsidiary.
