Pure Wild Spirits debuts Freya Woodsmoke

3rd November, 2017 by Nicola Carruthers

Drinks group Pure Wild Spirits has launched the first line extension for its birch tree sap spirit Freya, called Freya Woodsmoke.

Freya Woodsmoke is the first line extension from the group behind the ‘world’s first’ birch tree sap spirit

Freya Woodsmoke builds on the original Freya Birch Spirit with a “smoky infusion” of apple, chestnut and birch wood that has first been soaked in pure birch sap, to give “earthly and woodland” flavours.

The infused woods are burnt and the smoke infused into Freya to create the new expression.
Freya Woodsmoke can be enjoyed over ice; with natural mixers; or in smoky cocktails.

The limited edition bottle will be available exclusively during 2017.

Naturally low in calories, with a distinctive clean taste that is “full of character and exceptional smoothness”, Freya is said to harness the “sustainability and cleaner living” trends.

According to the company, Freya Woodsmoke offers a “spirit with a difference” to both mixologists and cocktail drinkers.

It is currently available in the UK on-trade and online at Master of Malt for an RRP of £34.
