Bloomsbury Hotel unveils RTD minibar cocktails
UK bottled cocktail specialist World of Zing has brought its ready-to-drink cocktails to the Bloomsbury Hotel’s minibars.
The newly refurbished Bloomsbury Hotel in central London has teamed up with World of Zing to create the range of single serve bottled cocktails, available in the hotel’s 150 minibars.
The collaboration is a “UK first for craft cocktails” and is the latest new product to come from the bottled cocktail producer.
Guests in the luxury hotel will be able to enjoy single servings of a Persian Lime and Nori Margarita or a Steel Aged Manhattan, both created at World of Zing’s dedicated drinks development centre in London.
The Steel Aged Manhattan combines Bulleit Bourbon with Gancia Rosso, Szechuan brandy and Zing’s own bitters, before being aged in steel casks.
The Persian Lime and Nori Margarita has notes of “rich Tequila and lime with Nori Seaweed giving a gentle salinity providing a mouthwatering sensation”. It combines Don Julio Blanco and Reposado Tequila with agave and a Persian Lime and Nori Seaweed macerate.
World of Zing founder Pritesh Mody said:“It’s important to note these cocktails are still handmade with the same care and attention found in the best bars, but instead of each location having to invest and train someone who can produce the various components of the drink, the Spirit of Zing set-up simply centralises the process and provides a cocktail that is consistent across all venues”.
World of Zing recently collaborated with TV chef Jamie Oliver to produce Jamie’s Winter Spritz for sale at his Italian restaurant chain, Jamie’s Italian.
