Ketel One debuts orange-flavoured vodka in UK
Diageo Reserve has extended its Ketel One Vodka range with the launch of an orange-flavoured expression in the UK.
Ketel One Oranje is available in the UK on- and off-trade
Ketel One Oranje has been infused with natural oils from Valencia and Mandarin oranges. It has been infused with essential oils, crafted by a perfume specialist from Grasse in France.
Ketel One Vodka is then incorporated, maturing for over 24 hours, to deliver a “zesty orange freshness and crisp, aromatic finish”.
The flavour joins Diageo Reserve’s portfolio of World Class brands, which includes Ketel One Vodka and Ketel One Citroen.
“The launch of Ketel One Oranje is a reflection of the continued demand for new and innovative variants in the super-premium vodka category,” said Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve GB.
“As a whole the category remains hugely popular, with recent growth in the total trade – up 18% in volume and 14% in value. Ketel One Vodka is leading the way, significantly outperforming the category, up 57% in volume and 45% in value over the last year.”
It is recommended served over ice, in a vodka and soda and in a Bloody Mary.
Ketel One Oranje is available in the UK on- and off-trade at an RRP of £27 for 70cl.
In March this year, Ketel One Vodka launched a special edition bottle to remember Arnold Palmer, the celebrated golfer and friend of the brand’s founding Nolet family, who passed away in 2016.
