The Spirit Show intros WSET Tasting Stage

London consumer drinks expo The Spirit Show is set to introduce a Tasting Stage in association with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust at this year’s event.

The Spirit Show has partnered with the WSET on a new Tasting Stage featuring talks and demonstrations

The Spirit Show will return to the Business Design Centre in Angel on the 1 and 2 December 2017 following the inaugural event last year.

The WSET will run a programme of talks and demonstrations for both trade and consumer visitors on the Tasting Stage.

British tonic and mixer brand Fentimans will also sponsor the new Cocktail experience stage, with a series of cocktail making classes for visitors in association with the Mixology Group.

This year, visitors will be able to try a huge range of spirits from over 120 exhibitors, including Ableforth’s, Drinks by the Dram, Foxhole Spirits, Global Brands, That Boutique-y Gin Company, Poetic License and Weymss Malts.

According to the organisers, stand bookings at the show have now surpassed 60% of the total available floor space. Ticket sales to consumers are also four times higher than this time last year.

Following “remarkable” trade interest at the inaugural event, The Spirit Show recently added a dedicated trade session to this year’s schedule.
