Santo Mezquila owner hires general manager

Los Santos LLC, owner of Sammy Hagar and Adam Levine’s Tequila-mezcal hybrid Santo Mezquila, has appointed Rebecca Running to the newly-created position of general manager.

Sammy Hagar and Adam Levine launched Santo Mezquila earlier this year

In her new role, Running will be solely responsible for Santo Mezquila – launched by the former Van Halen vocalist and Maroon 5 frontman earlier this year.

Formerly vice president of sales at Infinium Spirits, the brand’s national importer, she will work under the direction of Los Santos’ partners Jack Daniels and Marco Monroy as well as Hagar and Levine.

Andrea Cromaz has been promoted to senior brand manager at Infinium Spirits, and will assume responsibility for Santo Mezquila and other strategic brands within the company’s portfolio. Samantha Pettinger will continue in her role as brand manager.

“Rebecca will work closely with Andrea and Samantha and together they will make a formidable team in developing Santo Mezquila into a major brand,” said Daniels.

Steve Brecher, president of Infinium Spirits added: “This represents another step forward for both Infinium Spirits and Los Santos LLC and will strongly enhance the partnership between our two companies.

“Santo Mezquila is off to a strong start and has the potential to be a real game-changer in the spirits industry.”

Santo Mezquila – the “world’s first” Tequila-mezcal hybrid – is a blend of distillates made from 100% blue agave and and espadin agave.
