The Bloomsbury Club has also designed a range of mezcal cocktails to accompany the offering, including the Espresso Mezcaltini, which comprises Dangerous Don Coffee Infused Mezcal, espresso, and gomme; the Megroni, a blend of Burrito Fiestero, Campari, and Cocchi Torino; and the Mezcal Martinez, containing Quiquiriqui, Byrrh, Cocchi Americano, Maraschino Liqueur, and Peyshaud Bitters.

Bar manager, Brian Calleja, said: “It’s great to see a rise in the popularity of this fantastic spirit so we can’t wait to be part of London’s first Mezcal Week.

“It is so exciting to be offering Europe’s largest collection of Mezcal at The Bloomsbury Club Bar and I hope we introduce lots of our guests to their new favourite drink.”

The Bloomsbury Club is also set to host panel discussion, ‘The Future of Mezcal’, on Wednesday 13 September with input from industry experts Tomas Estes, Carlos Moreno, Gaby Moncada, Jesse Estes, Stuart Fritz and Jon Anders Fjeldsrud.

Taking place from 2pm until 4pm; attendees will also participate in a blind tasting of agave spirits.

London Mezcal Week will take place in venues across London, offering exhibitions and panel discussions, Mexican mural and mezcal masterclasses, and food-pairings.
