Texas retailer to match Hurricane Harvey donations

Twin Liquors will match US$20,000 of Hurricane Harvey donationsTwin Liquors, based in central Texas, will hold a flood relief campaign in support of those displaced or affected by Hurricane Harvey from Wednesday 30 August to Saturday 9 September, accepting donations and offering to match contributions up to US$20,000.
Any of the 80+ Twin Liquors neighbourhood locations will be accepting donations in quantities of US$1.00, US$3.00, US$5.00 or more in an effort to support flood victims. All donations will go to the American Red Cross to help the affected Texas neighbourhoods.
“It’s very important for us to support those in need and we want to do everything we can to provide relief to the storm-torn communities and families of Texas,” said Margaret Jabour, vice president of Twin Liquors. “We encourage customers to come out and support those affected by this devastating hurricane.”
Also this week, US drinks distributor Southern Glazer’s set up a fundraising page for employees and business partners to donate money to help colleagues who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
